Day 29: Demon King
Jumping back to Demonstar for today. This is the “end boss” of the module. 3d model (and print) by myself, MS Paint render by my talented brother, Cameron Croft.
Day 23: Squaid
An alien diplomat confused for an invader, Squaid was thrown into the Killosseum and has been using his psionic abilities to fight for his life ever since.
#6 Butch The Butler
Monarch is nothing without a good butler. Butch is one, even though his taste for slippers is a bit, lets say, strange?
#7 Gargoyle Madre
The gods found the woman prideful and after boasting of her beauty rivaling the gods’, they punished the woman. They stripped her of her beauty and when her children came to visit her, they found this horrific figure. They immediately tried to kill the monster that had invaded their mother’s home. She tried to speak, but unfortunately her new form also prevented her from speaking in a language her children could understand. As she pushed her sons aside to escape her sons’ attacks, her monstrous strength slammed them thru the walls killing them instantly. As she cradled her lifeless sons’ bodies the other villagers came to find the monster and what she had done and chased her from the village. She now visits varying villages stealing children as her own, but as soon as they are at an age that recognize her form as an evil form she eats their hearts to fill her black heart.
Day 4: Lopeing Fiend
A monster piece for my WIP, 3d-print-and-play board game, Demonstar. Once all of these guys (and the tiles, counters, etc) are finished, you’ll be able to download the rules and parts for free on thingiverse.com.
Day 1: Slithering Fiend
For the first post, I decided to go with one of the game’s monsters. I’ll have a 3D print of this guy before long (still waiting on a replacement part)
Characters 21-30/30 (Mission Complete!!)
21/30 – Amelia. She’s a ghost!
22/30 – Blech. Another WTF creature.
23/30 – Righteous Slaughter. A true founding father of this great nation.
24/30 – Avenging Pequot Warrior. In honor of the 700 massacred Pequot Native Americans.
25/30 – Slugger. He punches things. In space.
26/30 – Fluffy the Pirate. Named after one of my PAX Enforcer brothers, I mostly just wanted to draw a pirate with a Lemmy.
27/30 – Artslinger. This is the front turnaround for another contest, but I drew it in November, so whatever. Think having powers like Green Lantern, but through art supplies.
28/30 – The Scholar. Ended up looking like Gordon Freeman. Unintentional.
29/30 – Tengu. I didn’t draw any anthropomorphic creatures for this thing. Not my bag, really. Still, gotta cover all the bases.
30/30 – s133pDEAD! Okay, so it’s kind of a cop out, but I’m super stoked to have completed this challenge and also my beard deserves to be immortalized!
Funcrusher 3/30
Another character based on a phrase. This time, Company Flow’s classic burner, Funcrusher Plus. Dude ended up looking kinda like Mumm-Ra. Oh well.
Blarg 2/30
Pretty much the gnarliest thing I could think of. This was actually for a creature contest my friend was running earlier this month, but whatever. Still came up with it in November 2012.
Day Eleven: Ardent Way
It had all lead to this, she’d put in a hell of a lot of effort to get this far, the odds had been far out of her favor and yet she had triumphed. A cup of coffee, altogether too hot and sweet, was hers. Triumph.
The darting eyes of waiters under thick black hair and too much pressure from the obnoxious American canoe competition team on table four had not looked her way, the steaming pots of cheap coffee and weak tea poured by without ever diverting in their path to her table but still she had triumphed over the odds. With a cunning combination of feminine charm and obstinate determination that comes from paying a ludicrous fee for the breakfast buffet she had broken through the ranks of waiting staff to her goal: the coffee. Kind of a shame that it tasted so awful.

#07 – Hype Eater
Lies. They bend reality, run roughshod over time, and give the Almighty a rip-roarin’ headache. Fortunately, the Hype Eater exists. A meta-carrion creature drifting in from a technicolor hellscape, the dross of the sentient mind is its favorite food. It cruises along the edges at an acute angle to reality, feeding off of our lies, advertising, hype, spin and bullshit. Delicious.
It has a symbiotic relationship with the mysterious emissaries it secretes in search of the newest hype. They are fully sentient beings from our point of view, but to the Hype Eater they are more like bacteria; the prevailing theory is that they act as a sort of extensible immune system, while the Hype Eater itself protects them other primeval Devourers lurking outside of time.
The Hype Eater is visible to voyagers on certain psychedelic chemical cocktails, but is most often glimpsed at the edges of consciousness by sleep-deprived, overworked copywriters and designers, who sense the pulsing intelligence feeding off of them as they desperately struggle to put a shiny patina of beauty and craft onto  marketing claims both banal and audacious.
#4 Cave Dwellers
These luminescent, translucent creatures live inside the dark recesses of caves. They eat small bugs and insects, and are about the size of a hamster. There is not much know about them, because they are very cautious, but aggressive when handled. They are a dying species.
#3 Lizardman Steward
This lizardman race revolves around this fantasy setting project I have in the works.
The Steward is in charge of the community. He exhibits wealth via his healthy enlarged tail. He has tiny horns, his claws have not been sharpened due to disuse and his colors are more regal.
