#12 – Meg
Megumi (or Meg, as she prefers to call herself) was an ordinary high school junior who just wanted to grow up to become an expert swimmer. Â That was, until Julia moved to her school, and founded a club dedicated to obstacle courses and game shows. Â Shortly afterwards, Meg was dragged into the club and it slowly began to interfere with her swimming practice sessions.
Meg became furious at Julia for founding the club in the first place, and threatened to sabotage her course by adding a large swimming pool in the middle of it, but Mandy stopped her on the grounds that she doesn’t want anyone to get in trouble while she’s around. Â However, Meg and Julia would pretty much hate each other, and Meg, being older than Julia, claims that she has no right to boss her around (or anyone else in the club for the matter, as they are also older than Julia)
Outside of arguments with Julia, Meg is actually a really nice girl. Â She likes helping anyone in need, and she is also very sociable.
Meg is 17 years old.
#11 – Julia
Julia is a high school sophomore who was recently transferred from her old school, just like Mandy. Â She loves obstacle courses, as she likes to move around and jump a lot. Â Ever since she was 13, she wanted to build her own obstacle course after watching one too many game shows. Â Now 15, she has decided to work on one of her own courses. Â Not much progress has been made on the course, but she does use some of her free time to build it.
When that course is completed, Julia plans on forcing Mandy to attempt it, whether she likes it or not.
Tribal Mother/Seer from My Novel “Mentor”
Sorry, unnamed at this time, but is usually referred to as The Mother, or The Seer.
Metaphysical secrets passed down from one Tribal Mother/Seer to another, each generation adding to the store of lore and insight precious to the tribe. Held in great esteem, and with good reason, the Tribe does all it can to protect and nurture its Seer and her protege. Her legs have all but given out on her due to an attack as a child by one of the many savage beasts that hunt the Under City’s shadows.
The current Seer in Under City has not yet chosen a replacement. Some say because no one is worthy. Others that she desires to have Marnal (see 2011 Day 01 Marnal) as her protege, but Marnal pursues other interests. But The Mother is getting old. Very old and the people are concerned that she may leave them without a properly trained Seer. No one knows the will of a Seer of course until she makes it known, and she does have someone in mind. A least expected someone.
#11: The Red Lion
(I’m finished with super heroes. Time to move on to fantasy.)
Hailing from the Garden of Reegus, a beautiful forest known for its scouts and the locals general bellicose attitude, the Red Lion earned his name in combat. Â In Reegus, names are shed and replaced as marks of honor or disgrace, and the Red Lion changed his to this after his heroism in the battle of Kithli Forest.
Lions are not native to Reegus, but they do roam Avalia, Reegus’ neighbor and long-time foe. Tau of Overseem  was commended for his strategy of unleashing a group of Avalian lions, under the command of Reegusian priests, on the back flank of the Avalian force. This caused chaos to overtake the Avalian archers, allowing Reegus to surround and rout their foes.
For this strategy, the warrior known as Tau of Overseam was given the name The Red Lion to forever immortalize his actions.
When The Red Lion grew tired of his service, he returned to his home and raising a family while serving as the head of his village’s defensive force. As Reegus’ tensions with their ally Whitesky mount, The Red Lion was personally asked by Reegus’ chief diplomat to Whitesky, Xolani, to accompany him as a bodyguard.
Personality: The Red Lion is, as his name suggests, fearless and ruthless. Age has slowed his reflexes but not his mind, and he is a master strategist with decades of experience backing his attacks. He is a true patriot, willing to kill, torture, or maim anyone in Whitesky if it means the advancement of The Garden’s causes.
Despite his advancing age, he is a hothead when angered. His temper is legendary, and one of Xolani’s main duties is to keep him from challenging the offensive party to single combat.
#10 – Mandy
Mandy is a high school student who, after having recently been transferred to another school, runs into a group of students who want to become contestants of their favorite game show. Â Mandy feels that she may need to make sure that they don’t end up getting in too much trouble.
Renala of Upper City from My Novel “Mentor”
Renala loves to dance.
Renala seems like a vague kind of person. The kind that sees all but wishes she didn’t and who emotionally sweeps things under the rug that she doesn’t want to deal with. She is thin and pale, her eyes are a very pale watery blue. She has almost a ghost like quality that makes people uncomfortable around her. She is apologetic to a fault, if that is at all possible, and she tends to move quietly often inadvertently sneaking up on people and startling them.
But she has a passion for literature, history, and the latest fashions (even if they don’t suit her very well). she tries to instill in her dead sister’s child a sense of propriety and the position of her father the Governor, but the girl goes her own way. Renala wants to control everything in her life so that it can’t hurt anyone. She feels safer knowing that MAICS and the Grid are always watching to ensure everyone’s safety.
The only time Renala loses her inhibitions a little is when she dances. She loves music that makes her body move and she loses some of her self-consciousness and her timidity.
She is so far the opposite of her more vivacious and outgoing sister that people often make jokes that they were actually cousins. Only in that context “cousins” can often mean “someone mated with a lesser being –probably a Synth”, and would be accompanied by a snicker. Renala is not unaware of these snide put-downs of her mother by the petty snobs of society. And sometimes a hint of a more complex Renala surfaces.
#10: Omega
Name: Unknown
Aliases: Omega, That son of a bitch
Hair: Brown
Eyes: White
Height: 6’2
Weight: 178 lb
Bio: Omega is a cross-dimensional immigrant. Next to nothing is known about his universe, save that they have a control of energy far beyond anything we as a society are capable of. Omega refuses to say anything about the dimension he came from.
He came to this dimension in early 2003, and in four years time, he was democratically elected by the United Federation of Super-powered Individuals as Chairman and Commander of all operations.
Powers: Â Complete energy manipulation. Omega can generate a functionally limitless amount of energy from his body, both of a highly volatile and explosive “black matter” and a clean-burning ball of light called “white matter”.
It is believed Omega’s body is, in fact, composed of pure energy, for ordinary projectiles go through him and even metaphysical abilities, such as those demonstrated by Carson White AKA Mister Heart Attack, have no effect.
The only figure known to be able to do any sort of damage to Omega is Entropy, who, as an embodiment of decay, can turn the energy into vapor before it reaches him.

#9 – Sheldon the Mysterious Ninja
Nothing is known about Sheldon’s past, or who he is, but he is a ninja who shows up at random moments either to assist those in need for whatever reason, or to punish the criminals he spots as he wanders around.
This guy views himself as somewhat of a professional, but is open to advice.
Meldsen, Tech Master from My Novel “Mentor”.
Meldsen
Meldsen is the Tech Master for Upper City in my novel “Mentor”. He plays a key role in that he is Phipp’s immediate superior, and that he alone is responsible for the smooth functioning of everything that makes Upper City the sparkling vivaceous, comfortable and above all safe home of its human citizens. He’s even been know to go out of his way to repair areas of the City that are populated mostly by Nons and Synths.
He’s a gruff, no-nonsense old guy who still has a few tricks up his sleeve and he sees some things that others might not like to know he sees. But he also knows how to keep his mouth shut.
He dislikes the finery and pageantry that people and the media and corporations keep trying to foist on him. He’s a plain man. He wears the robes when he has to, and weilds his magic when he must or when he has a point to make. But mostly, he and his boys wander in the Labyrinth that is the maze of tech tunnels all woven around and through the MAICS (the Master Artificial Intelligence Computer System) and the City itself.
Without his guidance, and the help of his heirarchy of apprentices there would be no more holos, replicators, food, clothing, and worst of all no more Grid. So when he begins to find anomalies in the MAICS code, and weapon grade lasers substituted for harmless pencil lasers in an exercise droid, he begins to count his assets, among them Phipp (see #8- previous sketch and writeup), and a handful of Synth engineers under his tutelage. Perhaps together they can cross the heaving social bounds and prevent catastrophe.
#9: Master of Coins
Name: Unknown
Aliases: The Master of Coins
Hair: None
Eyes: Black
Height: 5’2
Weight: Unknown
Bio: There is no confirmed information about The Master of Coins. We only know he has spent much of his recent life in Peking, China, before emigrating to the United States in 2004. All information on his passport has been rendered irrelevant by massive plastic surgery.
Powers: Utterly unpredictable. The Master can transform any coin he is holding into the Omni-Coin, and each time he flips it, he manifests a new power.
Depending on the flip, the Master can either be a match for altered humans like Hedgehog or for physical gods like Entropy.
The Master is physically in his 80’s, though we suspect him to be much, much older. As such, he is rather frail in combat without a flip.
#5 Oregos
Some little fantastic creatures that have the power to influence souls. This is just a little idea might develop it and draw more of Oregos. The top one here would be a healing orego, and the one under a  killing/suicide orego… can’t think of any names for the moment XD
Phipp, Tech Apprentice, Upper City from my Novel “Mentor”
Phipp plays a key role in my novel “Mentor”. His technological skills border on the magical, even for the relatively computer dependent and decadent Upper City Citizens. He just has a way with computers and code, and inherited tools and skills passed down through his family for generations.
And a good thing, too. His family was responsible for the health and repair of the MAICS, the Master Artificial Intelligence Computer System, that controlled not only all services inside the bubble that was Upper City, but also the Grid which connected every one to everyone else.
Things have been going seriously wrong with MAICS lately. Anomolies showing up in the code, replicators not creating perfect copies, changes in communications. It was Phipp’s job as apprentice to see troubleshoot any physical problems with MAICS, but somehow these problems seems to be more than just a melted core, or a board crumbling with age. MAICS was getting old, yes. But… Could someone be trying to sabotage it?
When Phipps begins to investigate, he find much much more than he bargained for.
#8 – Tyler the Expert Mechanic
Tyler was once a thief who stole mechanical parts in order to create his own “inventions” for kicks. Â One day, Drew made an attempt to recruit him to build weapons and armor parts for her army. Â Tyler refused on the grounds that he would never use his skills for evil purposes, and she tried to kill him.
However, Sandy and her father caught up to Drew and stopped her before she could even lay a finger on him. Â For saving him, Tyler promised to build the Grounds a special machine that will come in handy whenever they need it. Â He now builds weapons for peacekeepers, as well as other useful machines for everyday use.
He can be kind of clumsy at times, but he is truly serious about his job. Â When he’s not building something like some super awesome laser cannon, he spends his free time sightseeing, talking to people, and shopping for spare parts for weapons (even though he used to steal such items back then).
#8: Spare Change
Name: Jason Freeman
Aliases: Spare Change, Treasurer, Meter Master
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black
Height: 5’7
Weight: 155 lb
Bio: Jason was born in Norfolk, Northern Virginia in 1986. Coming from a lower middle-class family, Jason graduated high school and found work as a parking enforcement officer. Â In 2009, he attempted to ticket super-criminal Black Hat, and was kidnapped and held by the Union of Superior Individuals for eleven days before their Norfolk base was raided and Jason was set free.
Having now been given a frontline view of the Bureau’s combat strategy and technologies, Jason was conscripted into Operation: At the Gates.
Powers: Jason has powers tied to coins. They are as follows:
Pennies: Jason can accelerate these to Mach 2 when he throws them, making them an excellent anti personnel weapon.
Nickels: Jason can expand the nickel into a shield roughly a meter in diameter. The shield is estimated to have twice the strength of a kevlar vest.
Dimes: Jason can force these to detonate after a set amount of time. The explosion is equivalent to that of a fragmentation grenade.
Quarters: Jason can transform these into knuckles, allowing him over ten times his natural strength in his hands.
Half-dollars: Jason can transform these into swords, stronger than steel and attached to his hands.
Dollar coins: Similar to dimes, Jason can activate a large explosion with these. Â He refused to test the coin, claiming the testing facility was too small to contain it.
#7 Professor Pinn
Professor Pinn is like the Q (from 007 movies) to Agent Acorn and the Animal Elite. Pinn is the genius behind the clever gadgets and weapons used by the agents of the Elite. Along with being the Chief Weapons Expert of the AE, Pinn is the Head of Intelligence. Sounds like a lot of work and responsibility for an animal as slow as a turtle but Pinn’s brain works faster than his body does. Let’s just say there are a lot of gophers in his lab…literally.
