Character #4
I don’t know, really. This was an outfit I generated during Sociology class today. I’ll name her Vixen. She looks like she fights crime as a
vigilante. I probably should have drawn a mask. Lol at the lame action pose. Hey, I tried.

G. Brett Williams #4 – Dragon Soldiers
The Dragon Soldiers were an advanced race of reptilian humanoids that were conquered and subjugated by the Faceless aliens. The Faceless used their superior brains to manipulate the weaker-minded Dragons into acting as their standing army. Their world was decimated and abandoned and the Dragons served for years as the personal slaves and soldiers of the Faceless race until Cyclone and his forces liberated them and turned them against their masters on Earth.
Their are two types of Dragon Soldiers, the larger and brutish type that comprises the majority of the Faceless martial forces and the smaller chameleon-like Dragons who are best suited to intelligence gathering, assassination and subterfuge. While both Dragon races made up the Faceless armies, it was typically the larger that did most of the fighting and the smaller race that handled the Faceless’ more menial tasks.
After their liberation, Cyclone organizes intermixed groups of both Dragon races into psychic-hunting death squads and “advanced peacekeeping groups.”
#4 Fluff
Fluff has been friends with Flump for a long time, and was part of the original duo with him. She is incredibly courageous, fairly smart, and is passionate about bringing some good to the world; especially in the face of evil.
#4 The Lady Bug
Here is another one of my new characters. If any one is seeing these, they are all meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I am basically creating them on the fly, even though I have been thinking about the story I am wanting to write with them for about a week before the challenge began. I have only uploaded females so far, but I will get to the males soon. Here is The Lady Bug:
A master of technology, college-aged genius Katie Pillar aimed to win the International Greatest New Invention prize held annually in Switzerland. The winner of this prestigious award is given a large laboratory grant with which to further their research. Whipping up her mechanical magic, Katie went right to work on her newest masterpiece. Designed as a chamber that would allow scientists to compact energy molecules into smaller but equally proportionate ratios to their original dimensions, her D-N-Abler was a smashing success. Within this chamber, matter could be shrunken to one tenth of its original size without losing molecular stability and while holding true to its original proportions. Hailed as the new Einstein of her generation, Katie excitedly accepted the award. However, just as hew lab was nearly completed, disaster struck. The criminal possibilities provided by the D-N-Abler made it the perfect target for several of the most powerful crime magnates from across the globe. During a raid on her lab that was carried out by the Mafia, Katie shrunk herself to hide from the criminals. Scurrying under a teacup for safety, she witnessed a battle unlike any other. While the Mafia began to dismantle her machine, foreign extremists arrived to take it for themselves. The end result was several wounded people a destroyed lab and machine, and Katie stuck in miniature mode. She pulled herself together though, and due to her small size, was able to stay alive on the grilled cheese she left on her table. When news got out of the attack, she was able to alert police of where she was when she wrote “Help Me†on the table with breadcrumbs. Brought into a colleague’s lab she began making a miniature version of the machine, though no longer in the form of a chamber. No longer would she trust this technology to ever leave her side. She instead perfected the invention further and created a D-N-Abler device that fit within a tiny jacket that she herself could wear. Realizing the greater potential of the improved machinery, it was clear that the attack on her lab was a blessing in disguise. She could now use her techno talents and D-N-Abler to fight criminals like the ones who had destroyed her technology. She now uses micro might to make right as the heroine known as the Lady Bug.
#4 Timothy Gray
Timothy Gray
Poor Timothy Gray was born in 1840, joined the 54th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry as a freed slave, and died in one of the last battles of the American Civil War. But he woke again days later, whole, but with vivid memories of his painful demise. For over a century since that time he has discovered that he does not age, and even when killed, will rise again days later. Without any great skill or courage, he has tried to use his curse to right the wrongs in the only way he can. He stalks the terrorists of the world: racist hate mongers, religious militants, and genocidal dictators, and shadows them, begging them to understand the evil in their ways. He is tortured and killed more often than he is heeded, but he always comes back sure, quiet and relentless to haunt again.
#4: Quantum Lass
Name: Janice Dalton
Aliases: Quantum Lass, Johnnie, Cloud
Height: 5’6
Weight: 133 lb
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Bio: Janice was born 1975 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a straight-A student throughout high school, with an average GPA of 3.9 and several college credits to her name. She attended Duke University, where she got her degree in sub-atomic chemistry. She earned her PhD in 2001.
In 2004, she was offered to join Operation: At the Gates. While working at the think tank, Janice volunteered to test a molecular destabilizer.
The weapon short-circuited when it was attempted to fire, and the resulting explosion killed two security personnel and wounded four others. Janice was among the wounded.
Three months later, she had fully recovered from her injuries, and her powers had manifested. She has served as a member of the Task Force since.
Powers: Can transform all or part of her body into a cloud of barely connected molecules. The cloud is utterly impervious to harm by anything besides weaponry that operates on an atomic level.
The cloud of molecules can also pass through solid surfaces and move at speeds significantly higher than Janice’s running speed.
#3+4 Princess Creole and Warrior Tan
On a distant planet there lives a race of alien shamans, a once peaceful people that have been forced into war by neighboring ruthless aliens. Princess Creole, carrying the reincarnation of their greatest existing spiritual warrior, is the last hope of her race. Along with Creole’s trusted bodyguard Tan, the two must escape their planet and find a safe place to birth their savior before Creole is assassinated by the rival aliens. The most boring, overlooked, insignificant planet in the galaxy? Earth.
(Woo, first slightly-colored submission! I was going to color the armor versions of the two, but I got lazy so it’s all sketchy… I’m hoping I’m right in saying that that crossed+dotted circle means ‘mother earth’?)
#4 Firesprite
Lia Galloway had a happy childhood, being the child of British/Chinese parents. No one would have guessed that she would become a criminal–a super-powered one, at that–in the future.
Sadly, Lia ended up as a member of Mitchell Baranovich’s enforcer unit due to the emergence of her powers during her third year of college.  The event was traumatic and sudden. Terrified and uncertain of what to do, she was easily manipulated by Baranovich’s smooth words and easy manner.
Lia can use the mitochondria in her cells to generate an energy field which allows her to fly and also create plasma charges, or “fireballs” and hurl them at others. The downside is that her hair, irises, and pupils have turned snow white. Taking the name “Firesprite”, she carried out attacks against Baranovich’s enemies without question.
However, during a battle between the superheroes Windwalker and Astral, Lia started to doubt her place in Baranovich’s crime syndicate. Also, despite all her efforts to deny it, she began to develop feelings for Astral (aka Billy Whittaker)–a reluctant hero who used his powers for good not for wealth or glory but because it was the right thing to do. Lia then left Baranovich’s enforcers and now operates on her own, independent of any group. Sometimes she allies with Astral, sometimes she does the wrong thing–but still, Lia, as Firesprite, considers herself truly free and finally able to pursue her own future following her own rules.
#4 The Vortex Swimmer
I don’t know anything about her. She arrived in and exited my doodle-book in exactly the way pictured here.
#4: Super Ninja Man
Here is Super Ninja Man. He’s not just like a regular ninja, because he’s like a super one. He uses swords, nunchucks, and sticks but he has a gun, too, just in case.
Thanks, Xavier
#4 – Pulse
As mentioned in my previous posts, the first five characters I’m creating are all based on me, so, collectively, they are called, “The Vitos.”
Most of my friends would say I have a big heart. In fact, it’s something people have been telling me for a long time. I don’t see it. I feel like I’m mean, sarcastic, and a little bit of a dick. But let’s say they’re right…
Joe Parker has a condition; his heart is too big. Growing up, it was a real problem. He was taken to hospital after hospital, but it’s not like there’s a cure for this. As he got older, and his body started to grow, the heart didn’t increase in size…but it was still three times larger than a normal human heart. And then came the stroke. While crossing the street one day, Joe fell to his knees, clutching at his chest. The truck didn’t see him and it would have hit him, until…
Joe held up his hand. His big heart beat, and the pulse in his hand (wrist) emitted tremendous vibrations, slowing, and eventually stopping, the truck down. His greatest hindrance is now his greatest weapon. When Joe increases his heart rate, he can emit powerful vibrations. He puts on a costume and calls himself Pulse, an adrenaline junkie-hero. But what Joe doesn’t know is that the strain on his heart will eventually kill him.
NOTE: I’m using Hero-O-Matic (aka Fabrica De Herois) to create my characters. Give it a shot!
#4 Rhaptor
First sighting: Two years ago.
Alias: T-Road, Tyrannosaurus Bastard
Identity: Secret – Terry Rhodes
Features: Reptilian-human features, including clawed feet and hands. razor-sharp talons, teeth, and claws, prehensile tail
Skills: Stealth speed, camouflage skin, cellular regeneration, night vision
Terry Rhodes’ parents knew their son was always going to be a troublemaker. He constantly got arrested as a teen and did a lot of robberies as an adult. Terry knew his time was going to be up so, but he had no other talents to offer the world, so he did a lot of volunteer work. He needed a real job and wanted to reform, but he kept being lured into the world of crime, and those two worlds clashed when he answered a want ad online for a “research assistant” for a company known as Mallum Inc.
When he got there, he noticed the place was dilapidated and creaking. Water dripped everywhere, and in the middle of the hall stood a tall, husky fellow with a demonic face. The man, calling himself Vox Mallum, told Terry that he could give him whatever he want as long as he stayed loyal to him. Scared, he wanted to run out, but the halls got bigger and he couldn’t reach the door. After running for about 30 minutes, he got tired and relented. The room changed into a palace. Terry was impressed, but he knew that there was something wrong about all of this, and it was.
Mallum gave Terry the abilities to regenerate limbs, becoming fireproof, to blend into the background, to see in total darkness, and more or less be the perfect thief. But in order to do that, he had to transform into a lizard-like man. Terry figured life wasn’t going to give him a fourth chance, and people already saw him as a freak anyway, so, he agreed, becoming Mallum’s number one henchman, Rhaptor, who was a lot smarter and more proficient about crime than his boss, who appreciated his talents. This tandem has made it their mission to make life difficult for the heroes of this new world.
Rhaptor: TM and (C) Jeff Harris dba Studio Lightcount.
03 – Azure Aviator
… continued from #2, the Gold Gladiator…
… [as a meteor] strikes the ground directly in front of Army Captain Robin Hughes, helicopter pilot for Senator Day and his wife, Hilda. Captain Hughes is showered in blue crystalline meteoric fragments and thrown into the air by the impact. Captain Hughes did not come back down.
The force of the blast had embedded the blue crystal shrapnel all over Capt. Hughes’ body through his shredded clothes. While airborne from the meteoric shock wave the crystals began to glow and resonate with the Captain’s mental desire to live and not crash into the ground. Captain Hughes stopped moving and remained stationary and safe suspended in midair glowing a faint blue.
Code named the AZURE AVIATOR, Captain Hughes serves as aerial reconnaissance and support for the Secret Soldiers under the command of Senator Day, in the guise of the Gold Gladiator, as the first flying hero!
The Azure Aviator can levitate and fly, propelling him forwards at tremendous speeds, with the aid of the meteor crystals that riddle his body and respond to his mental commands! With some concentration he can extend his anti-gravity field outward to include a single person and take them with him.
While the meteors that fell that night granted Captain Hughes extraordinary powers, and served as the power source for the Secret Soldiers’ floating headquarters, dubbed the Strato-Sphere, the rest of those gathered for the encounter with the Danaians weren’t so fortunate. Take for example…
#4 – Paper
Number 4 – Paper! I had a really hard time picturing this character, and a harder time describing her to Jonathan! I was this close to scrapping the idea all together, worried that I was forcing it because of the names of her team mates.
I had a vague notion about what I wanted her to be able to do, but ended up describing a mummy, a whip-handed woman and a two dimensional paper cut out at different points!
Luckily Jonathan saved the day!
#4: M.O.M.
M.O.M. stands for “Mind Over Matter”. M.O.M. is the worlds most powerful telekinetic superhero. Because he is so powerful, he really doesn’t care that his name spells out “Mom”, and villains fear his power too much to laugh at him. Because of his power, he also doesn’t care about his weight, as he really doesn’t need to be in shape to do anything that needs to be done. Even though none of his arch enemies have been able to best him, his obesity may be his true worst enemy that will finally do him in.

04 – Vapor
The incredible Misty Malone AKA Vapor! Not too pleased with this image, but I like the idea, it’s something I may go back to.
#4 Muse
This is Muse and his reflection. I will let you choose which one is the reflection though. They tend to swap at times like a split personality. But that’s all okay with him.
Muse completes my first set I think. Maybe if I feel like drawing others from this series (that is still in my mind and hasn’t been written out yet).
PS Sorry for some of the shabby colouring and erasing ever. But my tablet is hating me atm and so are my eyes 8| (should be wearing my glasses)
#3 Aeria
This is Aeria, She’s a total techno geek. Has no powers unlike Myst, Nora and Muse (Will come up next) She treats all her stuff as if it was alive. Maybe someday.
Day Three: Gateway
Full name: Roy Scarborough
Alias: Gateway
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Allignment: Good
Race: White
Height: 5’9â€
Abilities: Advanced telekinesis, flight (neon green telekinectic beams shoot from hands and feet when used)
Appearance: Short black hair, White suit with hunter green gloves, boots, cape, domino mask, and underwear, yellow belt
Bio: In the year 2100, the company Cyberkinetics, Inc. has perfected their designs for the Brain-Gate Neural Kinetics Chip (BGNKC), a system of computer chips attached to people’s brains and hands/feet that allow for telekinesis in soldiers and the disabled. However, it wasn’t long before the BGNKC was found in the hands of criminals, purchased off the black market. To avoid public disgrace, Cyberkinetics began a program to equip the police with the next generation BGNKC technology to combat these criminals.
The new chips had to be tested before they were handed over to the police force, so Lt. Roy Scarborough was selected as the prototype candidate. The installation was a complete success, but the cost was more than the local government was willing to pay to outfit their entire force with the chips. As a result, Scarborough was the sole recipient of the technology.
However, in his first case after getting his powers, he accidentally killed his assailant by throwing him over 500 yards and into a building. Scarborough was then fired and all records of his affiliation with the police and with Cyberkinetics were locked away.
Grieving the loss of his job, Scarborough vowed to master his new powers and become the city’s protector once again. Shedding his title of Lieutenant Roy Scarborough, he became Gateway, master of telekinesis, hero of Cyberkinetics, Inc!
Notes: Character is based off of Foxborough, Masachusetts based company Cyberkinetics Neurotechnology Systems, Inc who is developing The Brain-Gate Neural Interface System (BGNIS), designed to transmit neural impulses that will move objects without the use of hands.
#4 – Arinn, drawn by Beausephus
DATE OF CREATION: 1988
CONCEPT: A savage alien life form who is pursued and eventually befriended by intergalactic bounty hunter KRITON. Arinn is pure rage and animal instinct, but can communicate coherently by “emotional telepathy” – projecting his impressions, mental images, and emotions into the mind of others. Arinn begins an alliance with KRITON, who he considers the only person in the galaxy as bitter as he is.
_____________________
Arinn was created by my greatest childhood friend for our Elementary School comic book series, ARKON COMICS. Arinn was essentially a savage Lobo meets Wolverine character. My friend created basic images of the character and I tweaked them a bit as I drew most of the stories. We teamed him up with my character KRITON, and then developed a back story where their uneasy alliance began.
Arinn’s method of communication via “emotional telepathy” was a wy to keep him savage and uncontrollable but still a character with more than just bloodlust and Wolverine style bone claws (decades before Wolverine himself had bone claws).
My friend, sadly, passed away when we were 18, so I knew that I had to include some of our creations in this challenge. I am more than proud to share some of my happiest childhood memories with everyone.
Thanks for checking out my stuff,
Beausephus
Setashia
Setashia is the protector of the most delectable mammals on the planet.
“For a long time, I wanted to be a CPA, maybe own a wine bar, but I found that it was too difficult to try to drink wine, do math, and still be able to interact with people with any form of civility.”
Setashia, determining that it would be better to become a mascot for all things simple minded and tasty, and to remove herself to a place of bitter coldness and solitariness, decided to lay down her glass and pencil, and become a creature of the deep still waters. Most everyone agreed that it would be better if she isolated herself too.
“Don’t call me a whale… that’s not accurate,” she exclaimed at the end of our interview. “Besides, if you wanted to call a whale, you’d have to use it’s own language!”
“Cack, cack, cack, aurooow, auroooow!”
