#15 Professor Stavros
In the distant future of the year 2000, Professor Stavros is a Nobel prize winning scientist working with the army on a top secret project. To create a better soldier.
Little does he know what lies in wait for him and those around him.
Day 26: Dora
Dora is the lookout. She claims she has the eyes of a hawk, but she’s always hiding a pair of binoculars.
Day 28, 29, 30: Summoner Jay and his Elementals
Jay was most talented summoner in the academy. While his peers struggled to call on basic globs of water and floating flames, he was creating wurms and drakes from bizarre combinations of material. For him, the skill is almost automatic, his mood flooding into these strangely intelligent creatures.
Jay’s Pitchfire Lurker is a creepy little character. It comes from the black ashes and smoldering goo at the bottom of flames recently died. It sulks around angrily, then flares up into fiery anger at unexpected moments.
Jay’s Bramblethorn Guardian is a bizzare creature. It bulges with entangled stones and scratchy thorns, and does not respond to beck or call. But when Jay or his friends are in trouble, it becomes frighteningly protective and charges into danger without hesitation.
In the world of New Gaius, creatures from the Grey have invaded, and humans are a dwindling species. Beings of magic and myth have manifested to protect and integrate with the last survivors. But still, the fate of humanity is uncertain in this strange, beautiful new world.
Day 29 – Zoxen
Zoxen is a powerful monster living in the corrupted zone. The corrupted zone isn’t a place you’d want to visit at the best of times, but Zoxen makes a visit equal to suicide. He is said to nest in the center of the zone where the corruption is strongest. Although great treasure and powerful magics are said to exist in the zone, no one has ever be able to verify it.
SEGibson – 30 Characters in 30 Days
…and I’m done! Man, that felt good. If you compare this lot to the ones I did two years ago, you can definitely see a lot of improvement. Thanks #30char, it’s been fun! I’ll see you next year 🙂

Day 30 – Solar
Solar was once an ordinary blogger, until she noticed that she wasn’t getting tired. She also noticed that she was better at physical activity.
It turned out that due to some kind of genetic mutation, she was solar-powered. She began to sneak out of her house at night to see how far she could test her new abilities, only to find herself endlessly pursued by hideous shadows.
The more solar power she absorbed during the day, the more her abilities manifested.
She also found that she stopped aging, that any injuries she sustained at night healed rapidly once day rolled around, and soon she was able to fire concentrated beams of charged power from her hands. She decided to dedicate her life to fighting the shadows and detatch herself from the loved ones she was eventually going to lose, however she still blogs her journey, and the entire world follows.
(Figured since this is THE LAST CHARACTER, I’d go out the same way I started- with a kickass superhero)
2013 Challenge: Day 30:- FIREPLUG
The Tiny Titan of Terror helps me round up my third year of the challenge! Â Thanks to everybody who participated, you guys inspire me, and I’m going to spend the time between now and next year poring over your stuff! Special thanks to #TylerJames for getting the ball rolling, and keeping it rolling.
#30 Miss Flame
Caught in a laboratory fire Emily was covered in mutagen chemicals that changed her physical structure and embedded the ability to create flames at will without burning herself. At first she used her newfound abilities to try being a super hero but her rather focused and limited powers proved to be ineffective at fighting most crime.
Emily took her abilities to Las Vegas where she now packs in a capacity crowd every Thursday night with her pyro-daredevil act.
Wow. Â 30 characters!!! Â Thanks everyone for such a wonderful experience!!
Day 30: The Syndicate
Every great pro wrestling act has to have a rivalry… even Slamazing Sam When Slamazing retired from Wrestling, The Syndicate tried to find work but he was always just remembered as Slamazing’s foil.
#29 – Donovan the Strange Heat
Donovan was always that weird kid who everyone made fun of in school. Â His complete lack of regard for standard fashion senses was outwardly laughable. Â But once he entered college, he decided to embrace his weirdness and use that as the opportunity to become a warrior for his own personal interests.
…But that went horribly wrong, and he has become the target of every criminal in the city.
Will Donovan the Strange Heat survive this madness?
#25 Mistress Helen

Day 25 – Mistress Helen
The Order of the Valorous Heart, moreso than any of it’s sister orders, is known for having a particularly large number of Sister Repentia. The Adepta Sororitas in their order often perceive any slight in duty as damning and seek redemption in one of the harshest and purest forms known to humanity. The Violet Hearts temple, situated on a nearly frozen planet and constantly finding itself thrown into war is seen as taking repentance even a step further. It is here that Helen commands the ranks of Repentia, dressed in only torn robes and the chains that hold their evicerators to them, marching through the frozen snow towards whatever foe it is that challenges humanity next.
Helen finds her duty quite amusing, since the Violet Hearts are some of the least strict practitioners of imperial faith among the Sisters of Battle, but their order often finds itself collecting Repentia from other missions of chapels due to their reputation as being in constant war. Them hoping to die and be absolved in the eyes of the emperor as quickly as possible. Helen leads with compassion in spite of this, and does her best to keep them alive since her young canoness is actually a former repentia herself and is a shining example that taking the pledge of the repentant should be a test of faith, not a death sentence.
030 – Louise Erica Morales
Wife of Jericho and mother of Roland and Henry, she’s a high school teacher.  Louise escaped Hell many, many years ago and found a human vessel to take over.  She and her boys were advocated by the angel Serenitatem and rarely uses her true demon form.  Both Henry and Greg have taken her math class.  Roland was spared.  Louise is very close to her human parents, though not as much with her in-laws who knows that she is a demon.
029 – Ann Clarke
This is the Clarke children’s mother and David’s wife. Â She was a gentle soul who many remember for her small kind acts. Â She died some time after Jessica was born.
028 – Xiao Fan Tcheng
Xiao Fan has been with the Clarke family for years, ever since Patrick was born. Â She is a very strict nanny, especially to Jess and her own children. Â Her mother is British and met Xiao Fan’s father in Hong Kong. Â Surprisingly, Xiao Fan’s husband is also from Hong Kong but works all over the world.
027 – Vivian White
Ms. White is Jessica’s 6th grade teacher. Â She’s only have a few years under her belt as a full-time teacher and is close to Stuart. Â A portion of her design is based off of an art professor of mine.
#29 – Mrs. Pardee
A middle-aged woman who lives in a well-maintained old house in the suburbs outside of the city, Mrs. Pardee never had a real interest in the spirit world until the flood came. She spends many nights trying everything she can think of to contact her departed mother, who died many years before the flood. Dowsing rods, Ouija boards, crystals, voice recorders left on in empty rooms, Mrs. Pardee has tried it all, and the lack of anything more concrete than a few hand spasms and unintelligible static on a tape has done nothing to diminish her infinite well of hope.
