#3 – Targus

| November 3, 2012 | 0 Comments

This is Targus, an eladrin bard played by my buddy Matt.

Targus hasn’t really had much time for character development, as Matt is an on-and-off player at our table since he works like an hour and a half commute away from our usual gaming spot.

That sort of puts the party in a funny position because, as the bard, Targus is the party healer. And since he’s absent for a good portion of our games, the party lacks in the healing department in most of our fights.

And so, he’s sort of an NPC medic they can call for with the strained battlecry, “Targus! Heeeeelp!” whenever Matt isn’t around.

edit: i should stop doing these right before i go to work, gonna try and get a more detailed doodle in tomorrow.

#2 – Ralgar

| November 2, 2012 | 2 Comments

This is Ralgar, a dragonborn fighter played by my buddy Thom.

The team brute, if he can’t intimidate people into doing what he wants, chances are he’ll axe them apart. His short-temper has gotten the party into a couple scraps that could’ve been avoided with a little finesse.

Ralgar has none.

I wasn’t sure how to go about drawing his feet (arches back or straight legged, boots or paws??) ended up getting hit with the Liefeld Effect.

I think Thom uses Ralgar as a means to vent some real-life rage, but I ain’t really sayin’ that though. Okay, I am saying that.

#1 – Muzgash

This is Muzgash, a half-orc monk played by my buddy Jared.

He isn’t very monkish nor does he display the qualities of discipline and self-control like most martial artists should. In reality, he’s more of a refined thug, that enjoys dealing as much damage to his enemies with his body as possible.

Just this last session, Muzgash had incapacitated a cult leader by kicking in his knees. As the DM, I found this hilarious. As the cult leader, I did not.

2012 New Challenger: Erwin A.

| November 1, 2012 | 0 Comments

Sup. I’ve been lurking on the challenge for a couple years now, figured why not give it a shot this time around.

My name’s Erwin. I’m 24 years young, from California. I’ll be doodling out characters for a few D&D campaigns I’m playing in, a bunch of which are logged over at http://www.obsidianportal.com. I’ll probably link up the individual things in their posts when I get to it.

I enjoy photography, particularly messing around with dslr’s. And Law & Order: SVU. That’s about it.
