Nefertem- God of light and healing
Nefertem, the god of light and healing embodies all that is the spark of life. Born from the dark uncertain primordial waters in a lotus, he created mankind with his first tears upon birth.
Like a blue lotus that has yet to reach full bloom, Nefertem symbolizes the very essence of life, and his power is represented by the infinite potential that the living can achieve.
Beautiful, and benevolent, Nerfertem embraces all creation and watches over mankind with a loving and protective eye.
“The half bloomed lotus embraces all the living- it’s sacredness, and infinite potential.”
teenage gir and some other screws.
Day 14. Absolutely conquered. I couldn’t draw any pokemon sets today so i quickly coloured in this old gir and co. sketch i did a few months back.
Day 12: The Leopard
Andre Tobias was just your typical teenager whose life consisted mostly of parties, girls and video games, until fate took control of his life. Shortly after his 18th birthday, Andre began to suffer violent attacks that began with him sweating, shaking and losing his temper and ended with him in jail. Andre never knew his parents and was raised by his aunt, so this led him to question her about hereditary conditions that his parents may have had. When pressed for an answer his aunt told him that he had been abandoned by his parents because he was cursed. The next day she moved out without a word and was never seen again.
Andre desperate for an answer, tracks down his paternal grandfather in hope that he can explain his dilemma. Grandpa Tobias explains to him the history of his family which is of Gullah Geechee decent. It seems that grandpa’s dad while visiting New Orleans from his native Georgia had incurred the ire of a voodoo priest by stealing away the affections of a woman they both desired. As a parting gift, the priest cursed their family declaring that every third generation if a male child is born he will transform into a creature that is half man & half cat. Hearing  this revelation causes Andre to suffer an attack and undergo his first transformation into The Leopard. Grandpa too undergoes the transformation and the two fight. Andre easily kills the older leopard and his last words were “thank you”. Andre is arrested for the murder of his grandfather and after he transforms in a jail cell and a video camera records his escape the Feds are called in. Enter CHAMPS, looking to add to their growing number of super-humans and the rest is history.
#14 Phineas Tibbs, Esquire
Phineas Tibbs is a refined gentleman of taste and culture. He also enjoys chasing grasshoppers and lying with his belly in the sunshine.
Recently discovered documentation reveals that Tibbs was the head of a society of futurists, scientists and engineers who were working toward a brighter tomorrow for everyone. It is unknown what became of the society or Phineas after 1936.
#13 Reggie Rex
My old character that never really managed to get on its feet! Last traces of this historic piece can still be found at my dead web-space on: http://trasmit.tumblr.com
#13 Grace
Grace: A camp counselor that is anything but graceful but tries to fake it. 🙂 Her luck can be considered unusual at best.Â
Day 13: Veteran Jehk
The alliance was losing the war. They needed to win the next battle and they needed the best man to lead the operation. They considered and passed on eleven other officers before they were recommended a gritty old hare called Veteran Jehk. At first they were  sceptical. He was more of a whispered legend in the troop than a decorated officer. He abandoned the traditional tactics of bayonet, sword, and direct battle. Instead he insisted on his own methods of tracking through the forest, using traps, hatchets and his favored bolt-gun. He preferred stealth and cunning over tradition and order. The generals berated Jehk’s superiors for allowing such unconventional warfare, but they employed the soldier none-the-less. They were not displeased with his results.Â
Day 14 – Demon Hunter
Postapocalypse world is full of mutants. Some of them are so hideous that they are called Demons. And there are Hunters that own some kind of enchanted equipment. They hunt Demons.
Real Name – Joe Thornbee
Occupation – Demon Hunter
Weapons – Enchanted hammer and plasma shotgun.
#12-Dixie
Dixie is Santa’s secretary who annually keeps track of the naughty vs nice status of every child. She may make appearances as a new substitute teacher or baby-sitter, but her task is simple-to evaluate every child so she will have enough data for the naughty/nice list.
Day 14 | Spider-Kid
2012 – DAY 14
All characters are created by my 5 year-old son, The Junior Partner.  He has either drawn these characters on his own and I have recreated them here, or he has sat at my elbow dictating design and conceptual ideas like a creative, but frenetic, taskmaster.
SPIDER-KID
Inspired by the modern incarnation of the Blue Beetle, Spider-Kid finds an ancient medallion that creates an organic, chitin like exoskeleton that grants him strength, agility, “all-around sight”, and the ability to shoot sticky liquid that can either be adhesive, or burn like acid.  Unlike similar spider themed heroes, Spider-Kid does not swing from a web-line (which was surprising to me).  The armor also give him claws which he uses to climb walls and rip open “bad guy armor.”  I liked the concept of “All around sight” which was described as sort of trance that allows Spider-Kid, when he focuses to get a general idea of the location of objects and people all around him… a combination of Spider-Sense and Radar-Sense.
When asked why the armor isn’t all over his body the reply was, “I dunno…it just looks cooler like this.”
Day 13-Study
Study is in reality Steven Hanhammer a young super genius. His I.Q. is so high that no current tests have been able to measure it. Study uses his intellect to give his fellow heroes a tactical advantage in any battle. He also is there best negotiator and creator of many devices and headquarters used by the world’s heroes. Most times Study stays in the background as he is the first to admit his greatest weapon is his brain and definitely not his fists.
Day 12-Outwork
John Hundley was just a regular guy working at the local brick factory who one day was struck by a stray, falling radioactive brick. John was knocked out by the blow and when he came to he realized he had become a living brick wall. John now serves the people of his hometown as Outwork the human fortification.
Day 11-Non Hero
Non Hero is just an average guy with a big appetite for food and justice. Feeling he should somehow give back to his city, but not really being into working out, Non Hero put together a costume and took the streets as the rotund fist of justice. As long as the crooks aren’t too quick they better watch out.
